NO! IT'S NOT TRUE....THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!

"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."

IT'S NOT REALLY HAPPENING. IT'S STILL 1977. PUT IT BACK IN THE BOX.

SSSSHH. [rocks back and forth] SSSSHHHH.

  1. I'm ok. The original trilogy is still pure and unspoiled in my mind, where not even Disney and George Lucas can reach it.

  2. My take on it is this...

Lucas hasn't handled Star Wars very well himself so the idea that has sold it to someone else is a good thing.

Furthermore, Disney did surprisingly good by the Muppets and hopefully, they'll do surprisingly good by Star Wars.

    Fingered crossed.

  3. And I think they own Indiana Jones now too.

  4. To be honest, once you get past the mind-blowing part of the announcement, it actually gives the property a much better chance and finding it's sweet spot again. And B.A. is right, Disney has done great with the Muppets and seems to be batting it out of the park with Marvel. Here's hoping the Force is with The Mouse!

  5. Yeah. I am pretty optimistic about this deal now. Disney has proven it can make some really great movies (through Pixar). Combine that talent with Star Wars and we may see something truly awesome.
